No bank in China can accept it. Turkmenistan currency cannot be deposited into domestic banks, but can only be deposited into banks in Turkmenistan. Neither Bank of China nor HSBC, which have relatively mature foreign exchange businesses, has Turkmen currency business. Domestic banks support the exchange of U.S. dollars, euros, Japanese yen, pounds and other currencies, excluding Turkmenistan currency.
