In fact, any bank with a foreign exchange point can handle this business, as long as the issuing bank of your check has reserved samples in the bank you want to exchange.
If you don't keep the samples, the bank can also handle the receipt for you, but you can't get the money right away and you have to wait a long time.
There is a time limit for cheque exchange. If you don't go to the bank to cash the check within the time limit, the check will be invalid. I suggest you take the check to the bank to cash it within one month after you receive it.
Note: Most checks are valid for 6 months from the date of invoice, and a few will be valid for only 90 days if they are invalidated for 90 days.
