Why does TPP target China?
The Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement is an important international multilateral economic negotiation organization, formerly known as the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership Agreement (P4). It is a set of multilateral free trade agreements initiated by New Zealand, Singapore, Chile and Brunei, members of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. It has been brewing since 2002 and was formerly known as the Asia-Pacific Free Trade Area, aiming at promoting trade liberalization in the Asia-Pacific region.
