How to install LED lights on the computer case? Where are they usually sold?

LED lights are sold in electronic markets and online. You can go there to buy them in the shape of rubber tubes. There are external ones with USB interfaces.

More are inside the chassis. If it is red light and yellow light, it is generally between 1.8-2.4V, and blue and green light is generally between 3.0-3.6V. The current is 20 mA.

In the modification of the chassis, it is essential to add LED lighting to the chassis. Creating gorgeous chassis lighting effects is very satisfying. The so-called LED is a light-emitting diode (Light EMItting diode), which is a solid-state semiconductor device that can convert electrical energy into visible light. It can directly convert electricity into light.

1. The first is the selection of materials. It is recommended to choose 3.3v LED, which makes it easier to design the circuit.

2. Then determine the size of the circuit board to be made according to the size of the chassis space, and cut it into the required shape. After the cutting is completed, gently polish the edge of the circuit board to remove burrs.

3. After polishing is completed, the LED can be sprayed with white paint to make the LED lighting effect more obvious.

4. Now you can insert the LED into the circuit board. The positive and negative poles are inserted into two circuits respectively to facilitate wiring.

5. When inserting the board, first connect the two LEDs in parallel, and then connect the positive and negative poles of the connector to the bus respectively. There is no 680 ohm resistor used for voltage division here, so it should be powered directly by 3.3V. Then connect it to the bus so that you can use 12V power supply.

6. After the circuit is completed, it is time to solder the leads. In order to prevent the leads from breaking, use hot melt glue to fix them.

7. Finally, take out the hard sponge, apply a hot melt glue stick to a section, and immediately fix it to the inside of the chassis. Leave it for a minute, and the circuit board will be firmly fixed on the inner wall of the chassis. Finally turn off the light and see the effect.
