The comic opera The Barber of Serbia is a two-act comic opera adapted from the comedy of the same name by the famous Italian composer Pierre Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais. The plot describes a story that happened in Seville, Spain in the17th century. Earl Alma Viva fell in love with rich and beautiful girl Lin Xiawei, but Lin Xiawei's guardian and greedy and cunning doctor Barto Rowe was also playing tricks on Lin Xiawei, and music teacher Basilio gave him advice. Under the ingenious arrangement of the witty, humorous and upright barber Figaro, the Earl and Lin Xiawei broke through Bartolo's obstruction and prevention, and everything will be fine.
