Chapter I General Provisions

Article 10: Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Institutions and Programs
(1) Leeds College is a Sino-foreign cooperative education institution approved by the Ministry of Education and set up by Southwest Jiaotong University in cooperation with the University of Leeds. It enrolls students in four majors: Civil Engineering (Chinese-foreign cooperation), Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation (Chinese-foreign cooperation), Electronic Information Engineering (Chinese-foreign cooperation), and Computer Science and Technology (Chinese-foreign cooperation), with a four-year course of study. Students will study at Ripu Campus for four years, and those who pass the examination will be awarded the undergraduate diploma of Southwest Jiaotong University, the bachelor's degree certificate for undergraduates of general higher education, and the bachelor's degree certificate of the University of Leeds. Students with outstanding academic performance will have the opportunity to study at the University of Leeds in the UK in the third or fourth academic year. During the study period in SWJTU, the tuition fee of Leeds College is 100,000RMB/year-student for all majors.
