The School of Statistics of Xi'an University of Finance and Economics is on Yanta Campus.

The School of Statistics, with statistics as the main discipline and mathematics as the supporting discipline, has six teaching units: economic and social statistics, applied statistics, mathematical statistics and financial mathematics, data science and big data, and basic mathematics; and five undergraduate majors: economic statistics, applied statistics, statistics, financial mathematics, and data science and big data technology. There are currently 2,438 undergraduate students and 240 master's degree students.

Statistics has a history of more than 60 years, and the major of economic statistics is a national "first-class major" construction point, and the majors of applied statistics and statistics are "first-class majors" construction points in Shaanxi Province.
