1. First open navicat, find the database to be backed up, and open it, as shown in the figure.

2. Click the backup button-> Click the New Backup button, as shown. Click Start in the pop-up window to start the backup. When you see the word "successful", it means that the backup is successful. The location of the backup file can be viewed in the file properties, and its extension is psc.

3. To restore the database, click the Restore Backup button, as shown. Select the psc file that was previously backed up in the pop-up window, and then click Start Recovery. Similarly, seeing the word "success" means success in recovery. As shown in the figure.
