Wuzhou University, located in Wuzhou City, Guangxi, is a multidisciplinary local full-time ordinary undergraduate college built by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the People's Government of Wuzhou City***. It is a safe and civilized campus of higher education in Guangxi, an advanced collective of three pairs of innovative action plans of colleges and universities in the region, and an advanced collective of student financial aid work in colleges and universities in the region.

Wuzhou College is the predecessor of Guangxi University Wuzhou Branch, which was founded in 1985. in October 2003, the former Wuzhou Municipal College of Education and Wuzhou Normal School were merged into Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University. in February 2006, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Wuzhou College on the basis of Wuzhou Branch of Guangxi University.
