What are the three Buddhas in the Great Hall of Quanzhou Kaiyuan Temple?
Unlike other places, Quanzhou Kaiyuan Temple has five Buddhas in its main hall. In the center is enshrined the imperial statue of Vairochana Buddha, the Chinese translation of Dainichi Rulai, the highest god of Buddhist Tantric Buddhism. On either side of it is the five generations of Wang Tranquillity repair the hall when the four additional molded Buddha, in order of the Eastern Xiangji world Aksobhya Buddha, the southern world of joy is the Buddha of the treasure, the western world of bliss Amitabha Buddha, the northern Lotus World Achievement Buddha, collectively referred to as the five sides of the Buddha, also known as the five wisdom of Rulai.
