"In the center of the second floor on the west side of the Guangyue Tower hangs a plaque with four large Yan-style characters, 'On the Day of Junyun'. What is the meaning of 'on the sun and look at the clouds'? Who wrote it? When was it written?" Mr. Meng of Yanggu, a lover of poetry, was passing by Guangyue Tower on Nov. 6 when he became interested in the numerous plaques on the upper floors.

Fan Jinghua introduced, "on the day Zhan Yun" plaque "wooden, 3 meters long, 1.4 meters high, black characters on a white background, (qing) Xie Lan questions. However, "(Qing) Xie Lan inscription" time is ambiguous. Literature and history generally believe that, since the Qing soldiers into the customs, the capital of Beijing to the Qing dynasty, passing ten emperors, two hundred and sixty-eight years (1644-1911), roughly
Could be divided into three stages: since the first year of Shunzhi (1644) to the twenty-second year of Kangxi (1683), counting forty years, called the "beginning of the Qing dynasty "
Since the twenty-third year of Kangxi (1684), Yongzheng, Qianlong, Jiaqing to Daoguang nineteen years (1839), a total of one hundred and fifty-six years, known as the "Qing dynasty in the middle of the Qing dynasty", that is, the middle of the Qing dynasty;
Since the twentieth year of Daoguang (1840), the salty Feng Since the Daoguang twenty years (1840), through the Xianfeng, Tongzhi, Guangxu to Xuantong three years (1911), counting more than seventy years, called the "late Qing Dynasty", that is, the late Qing Dynasty. Because the time record is vague, so, some people say "Xie Lan is the end of the Ming and early Qing dynasty".
The book "Guangyue Lou" compiled by the Guangyue Lou Management Office in 2016 said, "(The) west of the building is a book written by Xie (Xie) Lan, a native of Liaocheng in the middle of the Qing Dynasty, 'on the sun and look forward to the clouds'."
