As the first ecological wind farm in China, Sany Heavy Industry's "Shenxianling" wind farm has naturally attracted great attention from all parties. The designed installed capacity of this project is 49.5 MW, and the annual power generation is 20 181460,000 kwh, ranking first among 66 wind farms in Hunan province. According to estimates, compared with coal-fired power plants of the same scale, the project can save more than 39,000 tons of standard coal and reduce 79,400 tons of carbon dioxide emissions every year. In addition, the project also prevented soil erosion of 792,400 square meters and sowed grass seeds of 300,300 square meters, which made the vegetation recovery rate of the whole wind farm reach 99%.
