Because the Weimar EX5 is an SUV and has a power battery in the lower part, the overall seating position is still relatively high, and the driver can see the hood in front of him, so the overall driving vision is relatively good.
There's a problem with the ergonomics of the main driver's seat, and those who've driven the car will know that the lower footwell doesn't have a proper place for the left foot. The left footrest is very close to the brake pedal and there is little room for it, making it uncomfortable to drive with the left foot, something that will need to be improved in subsequent models.

Since it was a weekend, there were more cars traveling on the road, so in the congested road I used the car's ACC adaptive cruise control to experience the L2 level of assisted driving. The overall feeling of following the car is still relatively sensitive and timely, the front car quickly decelerated to brake, the car most of the time can be braked (occasionally you need to brake), the braking of this assistance system may be more stable than the braking of some newcomers to the brakes, it is the kind of uniform linear deceleration. Another problem is that the distance between the car and the car in front of you is about one and a half car lengths when you set it to the minimum, which makes it easy to be blocked by other cars on congested roads like this one in China.
Another problem is that the car's range isn't very accurate. 74.4 kilometers were subtotaled, but the remaining range on the meter was only 203. Note that we started with 335 kilometers of range, and now it's 203, which means we used 132 kilometers, and actually drove only 74.4 kilometers. The temperature outside was 13 degrees, and that was with the ECO economy mode in use for the entire un-air-conditioned driving mode. Of course, this could also be due to the long kilometers of this test car, totaling 11,778 kilometers on the odometer, and the car should be more than a year old, so we speculate that it could be due to battery degradation. I believe the new car will have better performance. I think it's worthwhile for manufacturers to pay attention to this point, because range is too important for a driver, and I hope the range can be made as accurate as possible, so that drivers will have a clear idea of what to expect and won't be anxious about the mileage.
