There are five major domestic periodical databases

One, China Academic Journals (CD-ROM Edition)

Also known as China Journal Full Text Database (CJTD), it is published by Tsinghua Tongfang Co. It contains 6600 domestic journals since 1994, including academic journals and non-academic journals, covering science and technology, agriculture, medicine and health, literature, history and philosophy, politics, military and law, education and social sciences, electronic technology and information science, economy and management. The academic journals are also included as "Statistical Source Journals of China Academic Journal Comprehensive Evaluation Database". However, it is not very comprehensive, and some important journals are not included.

Second, China Biomedical Literature Database (CBMDISC)

The database is developed by the Institute of Information Research of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (IORCMS), and contains more than 1,600 Chinese biomedical journals since 1978. It covers all fields of biomedical sciences, including basic medicine, clinical medicine, preventive medicine, pharmacy, Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.

Chinese Biomedical Journal Database (CMCC)

Developed by the Database Research Department of the Medical Library of the People's Liberation Army of China. It contains more than 1,000 titles and abstracts of biomedical journals officially published and distributed in China since 1994 and some self-organized biomedical journals. The main disciplines involved are: basic medicine, clinical medicine, preventive medicine, pharmacy, medical biology, Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, hospital management and medical information and other biomedical fields. Four, Wanfang data resource system (ChinaInfo)

By the China Science and Technology Information Research Institute, Wanfang Data Co. The database contains a wide range of journals, including academic journals and non-academic journals, and provides full-text search for about 2,000 kinds of electronic journals. The academic journals included in the database have obtained the inclusion certificate of "Source Journals of China Core Journals (Selection) Database". Individual journals even change the word "selected" to "chosen", or simply remove it. Many authors therefore mistakenly believe that this is a core journal.

Fifth, Wipro database

Also known as the Chinese scientific and technical journal database, Wipro scientific and technical journal database, published by the Chongqing branch of the China Institute of Science and Technology Information. It contains more than 9,000 journals in natural sciences, engineering and technology, agricultural sciences, medicine and health, economy and management, education and library and intelligence since 1989, including academic and non-academic journals. The number of journals included is very large, but the shortcoming is that some of the illegal journals announced by the General Administration of Press and Publication of the People's Republic of China have also been included.
