The city's college entrance examination candidates have at least 46 people admitted to Tsinghua, the total number of which is down from last year but still ranks first in the province. Among them, 19 people from Xiamen No. 1 Middle School were admitted to Tsinghua, ranking first among middle schools in the province.

Xiamen tenth middle school is the first level of Fujian Province, up to the key secondary schools, in 1975, in order to solve the problem of the majority of children of workers in the Xinglin Industrial Zone near the school, in the municipal government, the municipal education bureau of the care and support, founded the tenth Xiamen City High School.
