How to Configure Utilizing Data Services for Hadoop Pig and HANA Data
SAP BusinessObjects Data Services is an enterprise-wide solution for data integration, data quality, data disposal, and data migration. It allows users to integrate, transform, upgrade, and utilize high-value data for focused business dispositions. dataServices provides a developed user interface interface, a metadata repository, a data connectivity layer, a real-time runtime environment, and a governance console.

The SAP BusinessObjects Data Services repository is a collection of tables that form the metadata repository for a range of Data Services. These tables contain user-created and the system's own objects, source (source), target (target) metadata and transformation rules. Creating repositories on an open C/S (client/server) platform facilitates the *** sharing of metadata between other enterprise tools. Each repository must be stored in a pre-existing relational database (RDBMS).

Using SAP HANA as a Repository for SAP BusinessObjects Data Services

1. Create a new user in SAP HANA

2. Create a repository in the Linux Server for Data Services using the Repository Manager Tool to create a repository (using Linux commands)

Example:

dsuser@namenode:~/dataservices/bin>

. /repoman -UDSUSER -PaA111111 -NHANA -tlocal -SDEMO_DS -c

3. Create the ODBC data source path in Linux

4. Create a new Job Server

5. Associate the repository you created earlier to this Job Server. 5. Associate the previously created repository to this Job Server

6. Open a browser and upload to the CMC (Central Management Console). Select Data Services and Add Data Services Repository (Note: You must use Internet Explorer for this process).

7. Add ODBC on the Client side

8. Go to Designer, select the repository we created earlier and enter the SAP HANA user password.

If the on-boarding is successful, the creation is successful.
