There are also people, business organizations, ships and shipping companies that have been on the U.S. sanctions blacklist, so don't get involved in the trade chain, which involves secondary sanctions.
The U.S. has sanctioned these, but he is still the hegemon of the dollar system, and the vast majority of the world's commercial banks do dollar clearing business, and if these banks are found to be involved in Iranian business, they will be subject to huge fines, so when these banks collect money, you either don't let them know, or you don't collect it through them.
