1. The Sekido region?
The Sekido Region, a region in Pokémon Go, was first introduced in the first generation game Pokémon: Red/Green.
The Sekido Region was the first continent created in the game world, based on Kanto, Japan, and its cities are named after colors. The towns in the Kanto region consist of seven main cities, two small towns, and the Pokémon League is located on the Quartz Plateau. Dr. Oki is the Pokémon Doctor here, and he will give new trainers Mythical Frog Seeds, Little Fire Dragons, or Genie Turtles as their initial Pokémon that they get.
To the west of the Sekido region is the Joto region, the two regions are connected by an express train, to the east and southeast of Sekido are the Rainbow Islands and Orange Islands, the Toyo Edge region is to its southwest, and the Shenao region is to the north of the Sekido region.
2. Joto Area
The Joto area is a large area to the west of the Sekido area. The Shingdu Place and the Sekido Place are located on the same continent, and the Shingdu's alliance location is also on the Quartz Plateau. The Shingletown area appears for the first time in the Gold and Silver Editions, with 100 new Pokémon. The starting point is Wakaba Town, where Dr. Airwood will give new Pokémon Trainers one of three beginner Pokémon, Kikukusa Leaf;
Fireball Mouse or Small Sawtooth Crocodile. The Joto area is very close to the Kanto area. There are dedicated tram and ferry links. The Joto area is rich in local flavor, lore, and unique culture. It has more history and mystery than other areas. According to the anime "Pokémon Ultra Generation", this area also hosts the Gorgeous Contest. However, it is not reflected in the game Heart and Soul version.
3. Plenty of Edge Region
The Plenty of Edge Region is a location in the Pokémon world, a large region southwest of the Shirokazu area, and the stage in the Red, Blue, and Emerald. The geography is based on the Japanese island of Kyushu, and Junichi Masuda states that the name comes from the kanji "豊縁," meaning "abundant fate," to represent the theme of the relationship between people and Pokémon.
In Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Ultimate Ruby, and Beginning Sapphire, the Toyo Karma place is the main map. In the Plenty of Edge place, Dr. Odamaki of Mirai Town offers three Pokémon to new trainers: the Wooden Shogun, Fire Wizened Chicken, and Water Leaping Fish.
4. Shin-Oh Region
The Shin-Oh Region is the main continent where Pearls and Diamonds appear. It is modeled after the Hokkaido region of Japan. It is located in the north and is characterized by mountain ranges. The Pokémon researcher living in the Shenao region is Dr. Yamanashi, and the initial Pokémon are the Kusame Turtle, Little Flame Monkey, and Bogaman. In the game, the player begins his journey in the town of Shuangye, where Dr. Makasago resides.
The Shenao region covers a very wide range of terrain features, from the traditional roads that appeared in the earliest Pokémon games to the brand new appearance of snow roads. The terrain is much more treacherous compared to other places, and the ordinary roads have become very much more complicated by the short cliffs that make up the terrain. This is a predominantly land-based area with only 5 waterways.
5. Fountain's Edge Region
The Fountain's Edge Region is a location in the Pokémon world, a large region southwest of the Shirokado region, and the stage in the Red, Blue, and Emerald. The geography is based on the Japanese island of Kyushu, and Junichi Masuda states that the name comes from the kanji "豊縁," meaning "abundant fates," to represent the theme of relationships between people and Pokémon. Among the Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Ultimate Ruby, and Beginning Sapphire, the Toyotomi area is the main map. In the Plenty of Edge place, Dr. Odamaki of Mirai Town offers three Pokémon to new trainers: the Wood Shogun, Fire Wizards Chicken, and Water Leaping Fish.
