Urban Management is a new major established by our college in 2017 in order to meet the urgent needs of urbanization and modernization of urban management in China. There are 9 full-time and part-time (including external) teachers in this major, including 1 full-time senior, 2 associate senior, 6 intermediate titles, 1 doctorate, 5 masters. The college has good practical teaching facilities and teaching resources, focuses on the cultivation of students' practical ability, and has built professional internship and practical training bases, which provide students with good practical training and internship places and improve the quality of students' training. The students can choose various employment options, not only in the government agencies engaged in urban planning, construction, management and other work, but also in urban construction-related enterprises engaged in business management.
Secondly, based on the development needs of new urbanization and the needs of the era of urban management digitalization, this major cultivates students with modern urban management concepts and thinking, mastering modern urban management theories, technologies and methods, with the ability to solve complex urban management problems in the process of urbanization, and can be used in the construction and management of urban construction, municipal and cityscape management enterprises and institutions, urban community service agencies, The program is designed to provide applied talents who can be engaged in management services in urban construction and management departments, municipal and cityscape management enterprises and institutions, urban community service organizations, urban property management enterprises, comprehensive departments of urban social organizations, and urban public utility units.
