Who proposed the use of Chinese style in the West
Feng Guifen proposed that the West should use the Chinese style.

"Chinese" refers to the Three Principles and Eight Points, namely Virtue, New People, and Utmost Goodness; and Confucianism, the core of which is Knowledge, Sincerity, Righteousness, Cultivation of the Person, Aligning the Family, Ruling the Country, and Leveling the World. The term "Western learning" refers to the natural and social sciences such as commerce, education, foreign trade and the law of nations, which have been introduced to China in modern times.

Advocating the adoption of Western natural science and technology such as gun-making, railroad construction, mining, and power line laying, as well as specific measures such as culture and education, to save the ruling crisis on the basis of maintaining the feudal rule of the Qing Dynasty.

The idea of "Westernization of Chinese culture" undoubtedly contributed to the development of education in China;

1. It introduced the contents of Western culture and education, initially reformed traditional education at the institutional level, and objectively contributed to the disintegration of the feudal education system.
