The reporter learned from the conference that the university's general undergraduate enrollment plan for 2021 is 7,130, of which 2,630 are teacher training students and 4,500 are non-teacher training students. In Guangdong enrollment plan 5856 people, including teacher training program plans to enroll 1968 people in Guangdong, non-teacher training program plans to enroll 3888 people in Guangdong.

The university has added six new undergraduate majors this year, including Internet of Things Engineering, Data Science and Big Data Technology, Artificial Intelligence (Chinese-foreign cooperative education), Software Engineering (Chinese-foreign cooperative education), Information Management and Information System (Chinese-foreign cooperative education), and Network and New Media (Chinese-foreign joint training).
