The Department of Chemistry is now equipped with a first-level doctoral program in chemistry and a postdoctoral mobile station in chemistry. Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry and Physics, and Curriculum and Instructional Theory (Chemistry) have second-level doctoral and master's degree programs; Applied Chemistry and Chemistry Education have second-level master's degree programs. The Laboratory of Green Chemistry and Chemical Process Greening is a key laboratory in Shanghai.
