Beidaihe is a summer resort, winter is also cold, seagulls can be seen in all seasons.

Beidaihe District, part of Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, is located in northeastern Hebei Province and southwestern Qinhuangdao City, between longitude 119°24'08"~119°31'58 "E and latitude 39°47'48"~39°53'17 ". East and south of the Bohai Sea, west and north of the border with the Funing District, northeast of the harbor district adjacent.
