It belongs to the prefecture-level city of Hebei and is located in its southeastern part. Hengshui is governed by Jizhou, which is the first of the nine states. Hebei Province is called Ji. Hengshui has 6 national intangible cultural heritage protection projects, 33 provincial intangible heritage protection projects, 55 municipal intangible heritage protection projects, and there are tourist attractions such as Hengshui Lake, Wuqiang New Year Painting Museum, and Jizhou City in its territory.
Hengshui, a prefecture-level city in Hebei Province, is located in the southeastern part of Hebei Province, between longitude 115°10′-116°34′ E and latitude 37°03′-38°23′ N. It is adjacent to Cangzhou City and Dezhou City of Shandong Province in the east, bordering with Shijiazhuang City in the west, Xingtai City in the south, and bordering Baoding City and Cangzhou City in the north, with a total area of 8,815 square kilometers. As of 2016, Hengshui City has two municipal districts, one county-level city, and eight counties.
