Kingdong started the layout of IoT business in 2014, and broke through the barriers between traditional hardware devices through Jingdong Weilian; in 2017, it launched the Alpha platform, which integrates artificial intelligence technology and content services.

On December 4, 2018, Jingdong announced at the IoT strategy conference that the newly launched Xiaojingyu intelligent platform integrates the original Jingdong Alpha platform and introduces Jingdong's leading artificial intelligence and big data capabilities, representing a comprehensive upgrade of Jingdong's IoT business.

Kingdong MicroLink

Kingdong MicroLink has become an interconnected and open smart hardware platform under Jingdong Intelligent specifically for smart hardware products, and MicroLink will create a multi-party ****-winning smart hardware ecosystem.

The predecessor of Jingdong Weilian, Jingdong Super App, was first unveiled in April 2014, and is the first mobile application on the market that accomplishes cross-brand and cross-platform smart device control, interaction and data aggregation.

Jingdong Intelligence will carry out its own business in the following three areas:

1. The "JD+" program established in February 2014 was formally put into Jingdong Intelligence as a retained key business. "JD+" is the future brand of Jingdong's innovative smart products. Jingdong will use this brand to endorse the innovative products and teams introduced. At the same time, "JD +" will soon celebrate its first anniversary, during which a series of smart hardware activities will be held.

2, increase the construction of Jingdong intelligent cloud platform. Jingdong intelligent cloud platform has access to more than 100 brands of products, has covered the national first-line mainstream brands. By implanting Jingdong's modules in traditional home appliances and connecting them to Jingdong Cloud, consumers can use the same APP to control all the accessed products, realizing the interconnection between different products of different brands.

3, continue to increase investment. 2014 Jingdong invested in less than 10 companies, in 2015, Jingdong will "account for a small share, to help not add to the chaos" of the main theme of continuing to invest in entrepreneurial teams, and will Jingdong more resources to the products of these teams.
