Report 1. Problem raised: Human beings can never live without water, and water is called the sweet spring water of life. For a long time, people have generally believed that water is "inexhaustible" and do not know how to cherish it at all, but waste it for no reason. But we must know that our country’s water resources are not abundant, accounting for about sixth place in the world, and they are polluted all the time, which makes water resources more scarce. Therefore, we must start by cherishing water and establish the belief that "saving water is glorious and wasting water is shameful", so that we can make water resources more abundant. Online data shows that in the last century, global water consumption has increased six times, which is more than twice the growth of human population during the same period. These aggressive statistics are driving home the water crisis. At present, 40% of the world's population is facing severe water shortages, of which 1.2 billion people do not have access to safe drinking water, and 2.4 billion people's domestic water has not been effectively cleaned; every year, children suffer from diseases due to lack of water. 2 million people; in some of the poorest countries, 20% of children die before the age of 5 due to water-related diseases due to insufficient access to clean water. In the next decade, 1 billion people around the world will struggle to obtain safe and clean water. Recently, when our group was discussing activity plans, we all talked about the same issue: there is a lot of water pollution and waste at present: some people do not close the tap tightly after using water and let the water flow away in vain, and some people turn the water on very high when using water. Big, some people wash things with the water running and use it for a long time, and some people just throw away the used water. On the other hand, people use a lot of dish soap and detergents, and even throw away garbage, waste and Oil pollution and so on are poured into rivers, resulting in serious pollution of our limited water resources... What exactly is the cause of this series of phenomena? What consequences and impact will this have on human beings? What can we do? With these questions in mind, we successively carried out investigations, inspections and research. 2. Division of tasks: The first stage: collect secondary information through newspapers, magazines, the Internet and other mass media to initially understand the relevant situation of our city's water resources. The second stage: Master first-hand information through on-the-spot investigation. The third stage: organize the data from the first two stages and form an investigation report. 3. Activity process and results: (1) Preliminary investigation: Our team discovered the following aspects in the first stage: A. Waste of water: 1. Leave the faucet on. 2. The water is turned on too much. 3. Use water for too long 4. Play with water. 5. No water is reused. 6. When using water in winter, drain the cold water that comes out first. 7. Turn on the water to wash things. B. Polluted water: 1. Use plenty of detergent or dish soap. 2. Throw rubbish in the toilet. 3. Discharge wastewater into rivers. 4. Pour the oil directly into the water. (2) Questionnaire survey: In order to further understand the causes and consequences of water waste and pollution, as well as the water purification and treatment situation, we decided to conduct a water questionnaire survey: 1. A. Discarding the water after washing rice and vegetables accounted for 41%. B. Watering flowers, washing dishes, and flushing toilets accounted for 59%. Conclusion: Most people have developed a good habit of saving water resources, but it is not obvious enough. 2. Whether to use dishwashing liquid when washing dishes? A Yes accounted for 86% B No accounted for 14% Conclusion: Most people use dishwashing liquid for convenience and clean washing, but do not pay attention to the pollution caused by dishwashing liquid to water. 3. When washing clothes, A soap accounts for 24% B washing powder accounts for 76% Conclusion: Most people use washing powder, and a small number of people use soap, which shows that most people do not pay attention to the water pollution caused by washing powder. 4. The ways to deal with leftover vegetable soup are A. Pour it into the bathroom, accounting for 30%. B. Throw it into the trash can, accounting for 65%. C. Other methods accounting for 5%. Conclusion: Some people pour the remaining vegetable soup directly into the bathroom, causing water pollution. Through questionnaire surveys, it was found that more than 80% of people do not reuse water. People's awareness of environmental protection is very poor. In particular, more than 86% of people use dishwashing detergent, and more than 76% of people use washing powder. Their reason is simple, just to wash things cleaner, but they are not aware of the pollution of water resources caused by washing products. 4. Suggestions and conclusions: Suggestions: 1. According to analysis, families can save about 70% of water as long as they change bad habits. There are many bad habits related to wasting water, such as: flushing cigarette butts and fine waste in the toilet; draining a lot of water in order to get a glass of cold water; washing potatoes and carrots first and then peeling them, or rinsing them before choosing vegetables. ; Failure to turn off the faucet immediately after using water; Forgetting to turn off the faucet during the water outage; Leaving the water flowing when washing hands, face, and brushing teeth; Failure to check the faucet before going to bed or before going out; Failure to repair leaking equipment in time. 2. Through preliminary investigations, on-site inspections and experimental research, the students comprehensively reported, displayed and communicated the research process and results. In order to protect and utilize water resources, everyone suggested: l Save water and use one water for multiple purposes. 2. Use washing supplies with caution and do not dump garbage and oil anywhere. 3. Learn some simple and basic sewage purification and treatment methods. 4. Increase water prices appropriately to enhance people’s conscious awareness of water conservation. 5. Establish a community water-saving committee to carry out water-saving activities so that the whole society can participate in the rational use and protection of water.
Students, get moving! In order for us to have a better tomorrow, start from today, start with a little thing, start with saving water resources! Conclusion: 1. Ecological improvement is closely related to the practical interests and quality of life of thousands of households, and requires the participation of everyone in the whole society.
