According to the Regulations on the Establishment of Institutions and Establishment Management of Local People's Governments at All Levels, the establishment, abolition or merger of administrative institutions of local people's governments at all levels above the county level shall also be reported to the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of the same level for the record in accordance with the law. The deliberative and coordinating bodies of local people's governments at and above the county level do not set up separate offices, and their specific work is undertaken by the administrative bodies concerned.
