Yueyangvocationaltechnicalcollege (Yueyangvocationaltechnicalcollege) is located in Yueyang City, Hunan Province, is sponsored by the People's Government of Yueyang City, Hunan Provincial People's Government in charge of a comprehensive higher vocational institutions. The college originated in April, 2003, from the former Yueyang Health School, Yueyang Agricultural School, Yueyang Electromechanical School and Yueyang Staff Higher Education School merged and upgraded to form Yueyang Vocational and Technical College, and in 2009, it was established as a demonstrative higher vocational college in Hunan Province. As of December 2021, the college covers an area of 1,000 acres, with a building area of 300,000 square meters; there are more than 800 faculty and staff members among them (including 40 professors, 232 associate professors and other associate titles, and 257 doctoral and master's degree holders), and more than 16,000 full-time students; it operates eight second-level colleges and two public ****teaching departments, and 28 higher-level majors.In December 2019, it was Ministry of Education and Ministry of Finance in the fourth category of high-level professional group construction units (C grade).
