Hello, everyone! Today, I'm here to start a series of lectures on Artificial Intelligence (AI). In this series, we'll take you to understand what all the big words on the internet - Big Data, Cloud, AI, Deep Learning, Machine Learning and so on - stand for, and what they have to do with each other. The first lesson will give you a brief overview of what AI is and some of the most popular branches of AI today.

Artificial Intelligence is a very large field, and all the popular related technologies belong to its machine learning branch, of which Deep Learning is the more difficult and one of the hottest areas of machine learning. All references to AI in our classroom will refer to the branch of machine learning in general.

Machine learning uses large amounts of data and algorithms to build models that can be used to make predictions when new data becomes available. Decisions that people used to make empirically can now be supported by data.
