In January 2018, the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) determined that Cloud from Science and Technology would undertake the construction task of the national "Artificial Intelligence" industrialization project -

Top-level design. Established joint laboratories with the Ministry of Public Security, the four major banks, and the Civil Aviation Administration to promote the establishment of artificial intelligence product standards, and became the only artificial intelligence enterprise that simultaneously formulated national, ministerial, and line standards.
