Xinjiang dialect is the language of the Uyghur people, the main minority group in Xinjiang. The Uyghur language belongs to the Altaic language family, and the languages of all countries belonging to this family are similar to Xinjiang dialect (Uyghur), such as Turkey, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and other Turkic countries.

What we are referring to here are the three groups of z-zh c-ch s-sh, which have a corresponding set of consonants in the front of the tongue, also known as flat consonants. zh\ch\sh are all back consonants in the back of the tongue, also known as warble consonants. In the Xinjiang dialect, both flat and warbled consonants are found, but their use is not consistent with the Mandarin system.

The Xinjiang dialect has more consonants than the Mandarin, but fewer than the southern dialect, and there are some consonants such as: What - Sheng - Sen, Tea - Wipe, Yes, Four, Sad, Minute, Za - Za, and so on.

2. Pre-nasal and post-nasal consonants are not differentiated

The Xinjiang dialect reads the two post-nasal consonants eng and ing in Mandarin as pre-nasal consonants, e.g.: eagle - yin, cross - hate, star - new, cultivate - heel, mong - door, etc.

The Xinjiang dialect is more common than Mandarin, but less common than Southern. The Chinese dialect of Xinjiang pronounces all of the two final vowels of eng in the Mandarin dialect as follows. Ming-min Ning-you can-nen, and so on and so forth. The un, ün, etc. in Mandarin are pronounced as ong, such as: group-poor mixing-coaxing roll-arching army-jiong, and so on and so forth.
