On March 31, 2021, Jiangjin District held the Western (Chongqing) Science City Jiangjin Park Management Committee licensing, Jiangjin District Unity Lake Big Data Intelligent Industrial Park licensing and opening activities.

This marks the official opening of the Jiangjin Park Management Committee of the Western (Chongqing) Science City, and the construction of the park has entered a new phase and opened a new chapter, striding towards the development goal of "the southern science and innovation center of the Western (Chongqing) Science City, the business center, the base for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and the high quality of life and livability".
