Guiyang's Big Data Industry
Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province, is an important central city in southwest China and a nationally important ecological leisure and resort tourism city. It has a history of more than 400 years and is named after the south of the Guishan Mountain in its territory. In ancient times, Guiyang was rich in bamboo, and was famous for making the musical instrument "Chiku", so it was called "Chiku" for short, also known as "Jinzhu".
Guiyang Big Data refers to the big data industry in Guiyang. In the development of big data industry, Guiyang has natural advantages and policy advantages, at the end of 2013, the three major carriers set up data centers in Guiyan New District, in 2017, Huawei set up a data center in Guiyang, and in the same year, Tencent also set up a green data center in Guiyang.
Guiyang's geomorphology has three major features that are different from other provincial capitals
①"The ground is not three miles flat"
Also a mountain city, Chongqing is " Chongqing is a city of mountains, and the city is a mountain", while Guiyang is "a city in the mountains, and a mountain in the city". Guiyang's landscape is dominated by mountains and hills. Mountainous, hilly area accounts for 84.61% of the total area of Guiyang; equivalent to the "flat land" of the mountain dams (see dams) accounted for only 15.39% of the city's total area, is a provincial capital city without the support of the plains. The environmental problem brought about by this feature of the landscape is that the high mountains and steep slopes are prone to soil erosion during the heavy rainfall season, which is one of the natural factors causing desertification in karst areas. Therefore, it is necessary to implement the measures of closing the mountains to forests and implementing the project of returning farmland to forests and grasses for sloping cultivated land above 25° according to the relevant national regulations.
②Karst landforms are extremely developed
Karst exposed area accounts for 85.03% of the total land area. Each district, county and city karst exposed area accounted for the proportion of the total land area of the region are higher than the province's 61.92%, but also much higher than other provincial capitals. Typical karst landforms and their diverse geomorphological forms have created beautiful natural scenery, rich mineral and biological resources, but at the same time brought Guiyang a barren and fragile ecological environment. Through the unremitting efforts of the people of Guiyang, by the end of 2014, the forest coverage rate reached 45%, and the per capita public **** green space area reached 11.2 square meters. "Forest in the city, city in the forest" is a true reflection of Guiyang.
③It is the only provincial capital city located in the watershed zone of the two watersheds
Guiyang City is located in the watershed zone of the two watersheds of the Yangtze River and the Pearl River, and the watershed ridge is the Miao Ridge. Miao Ling stretches across the south-central part of Guiyang city, about 3 kilometers south of Huaxi Park in the north-south direction of the karst valley, the Miao Ling is contrary to the norm of tall mountains, low-lying terrain across the karst valley and the formation of no ridge and the watershed of the peculiar geomorphological phenomena. Constructed in the karst valley in the Luoping Reservoir, the reservoir water south and north of the diversion, irrigating the karst valley in the Yangtze River Basin and the Pearl River Basin farmland, the watershed of this peculiar phenomenon, at least in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau area is unique.
