Introduction of Longnan Normal Higher and Specialized Colleges and Universities:
Longnan Teachers' College was established on the basis of merger of the former Chengxian Teachers' Training School and Lixian Teachers' Training School with Longnan Normal College, which was approved by the Ministry of Education in April, 2003, and established a full-time general higher and specialized teachers' college and university. The original Chengxian Normal School was founded in 1937, the original Li County Normal School was founded in 1973. in April 2001, the two teachers merged to form the Longnan Normal School. in April 2003, approved by the Ministry of Education, Longnan Normal School was upgraded to the Longnan Normal Higher Education Colleges and Universities. 2013, Longnan Agricultural School and Chengxian Vocational Middle School were merged into the Longnan Normal School as a whole. 2014 the school became the only one in the country to undertake the reform project of the Ministry of Education's Excellent Teacher Training Program. In 2014, the school became the only specialized school in China to undertake the reform project of the Ministry of Education's excellent teacher training program. 2015, the school added the brand of Longnan E-commerce Vocational College.
Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College:
Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the government of Gansu Province, filed with the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by the government of Lanzhou City in 2001. The predecessor of the school is the 35th Middle School of Lanzhou City, which was founded in 1974. In August 2009, Lanzhou Normal School, which was founded in 1904, and Lanzhou Institute of Education, which was founded in 1958, were merged into Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College, and merged to form the new Lanzhou Vocational and Technical College. As of June 2018, the college has three campuses: the main campus, Yan'erwan Campus and Taolin Campus, covering an area of 462 acres, with a building area of 220,000 square meters; 72 majors, 8 faculties and departments, 4 teaching departments, and 1 center; 8,560 enrolled students, and 740 teaching staff.
