Why is it so hard for older people to get a job?
Elderly people have repeatedly hit the wall in the job search process. Some people say that they graduated from Tsinghua University, 58 years old, before retirement in a foreign enterprise as a project manager, now want to re-employment, but it is difficult to find a salary of more than 5,000 yuan of positions. There are also elderly people who said that the current career options are very limited, only security guards, janitorial services such as basic positions to choose from, fewer companies recruiting elderly people, and even fewer counterparts in the right position. So, where is the crux of the employment difficulties of the elderly?

Hu Zhan, vice president of Fudan University's Institute for Research on Aging, said that because human society in the long history of the proportion of the elderly had been stable for a long time in the proportion of 3% -5%, and today we have more elderly people and aging is a modern phenomenon, so we are not enough to prepare for it. Many systems in human society, especially the employment system, are designed with the middle-aged and the young in mind. We have never considered that we would have such a huge number of elderly people entering the employment sequence, so we are actually under-prepared, and we have not developed or innovated or given serious thought to positions, industries and occupations suitable for the elderly. On the other hand, the concept of treating age also needs to be updated, so this may require the whole society to have a **** the same values or concepts of upgrading.
