Calculation:

Based on the commercial store data of 170 mainstream consumer brands and the user behavior data of 18 head Internet companies in various fields and the urban big data of data organizations in 2018, the results were evaluated according to five dimensional indices: concentration of commercial resources, urban hubs, activity of urbanites, diversity of lifestyles, and plasticity of the future. The algorithm evaluates 337 Chinese cities at prefecture level and above according to five indexes.

The algorithm is the same as in the past: a combination of scoring by the New Tier 1 Cities Institute's expert committee and principal component analysis to arrive at the final results.

In the framework of the algorithm, the data that make up the first-level index come from 19 second-level dimensions and 79 third-level dimensions - expanding to the fourth-level dimensions, the number of indicators has exceeded 100.

In the 2019 City Business Attractiveness Ranking report book, which is available in the May issue of YiMagazine and online, we list all 79 tertiary dimension indicators under the five dimensions of the judging framework of the judging city in order.

You will find that all cities have their own distinctive characteristics in the high and low change curves of the indicators. There is no perfect city, no two identical shapes, and each city has done its best to seize the opportunity to go further in what it specializes in.
