Installation method:
A, software installation and upgrade:
Method 1: program upgrade
Enter Settings - Other Settings - About Software, select Detect Update. Note: Only the official version can be upgraded within the program.
Way 2: Download and install from the official website
Step 1: Download the public version V2.0 from the official website.
Step 2: Copy the software to a USB flash drive.
Step 3: Insert the USB flash drive into your car, open it with File Manager, find the software in the USB flash drive, and click Install.
Step 4: Installation is successful.
Second, map upgrade:
Method 1: Upgrade data in the program
Go to More--Offline data, select the city with update prompt to update.
Note: This function requires the car to be connected to the network.
Method 2: USB flash drive update
Step 1: Download the map data from the official website, you can choose to download the national map data or sub-provincial map data.
After downloading the national map data, right-click to unzip it to the current folder, i.e., amapauto8 folder; if you download more than one sub-province map data, select all and right-click to unzip it to the current folder, i.e., amapauto8 folder.
Step 2: Store the unzipped data in the root directory of USB flash drive, enter the offline data page, click Zero Traffic Update, and select USB flash drive to update.
Step 3: The car will automatically recognize the data in your USB flash drive, and you can select the data you need to update according to your needs.
Step 4: Select data from any city as needed.
Complete the update.
Method 3: Mobile Hotspot Transmission Data
Step 1: The car needs to be connected to a mobile hotspot.
Step 2: Download the offline data from the mobile version of Gaoder Maps. (Need to download the map + navigation data)
Step 3: Enter the toolbox and select Connect Car. After successfully entering the following page, choose to send the offline data from the mobile version to the car version.
Step 4: The car phone starts to receive data until it is all done.
