Shanghai Normal University TIANHUA College (Shanghai Normal University TIANHUA College) in April 2005 by the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of the school, is a full-time privately-run undergraduate colleges and universities, independent enrollment, independent issuance of graduation diplomas, and students meet the requirements of bachelor's degree issued in accordance with the relevant provisions of the State. The school is located in Jiading District, Shanghai, which is at the junction of Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces. It is connected to downtown Shanghai by Metro Line 11, and with the completion of the intercity high-speed railroad, the school has convenient transportation to the Yangtze River Delta and large and medium-sized cities in China. The school covers an area of 500 acres, with a building area of 210,000 square meters, advanced teaching facilities, a spacious sports ground, a beautiful campus environment, surrounded by natural rivers, a green area of 100,000 square meters, year-round greenery, flowers and grasses, is the ideal place for college students to study.

The school has 7 disciplines: Engineering, Management, Literature, Education, Science, Art and Economics. Currently, there are Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation, Automotive Service Engineering, Transportation, Electronic Information Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Communication Engineering, Network Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Tourism Management, International Business, Logistics Management, Financial Management, Financial Mathematics, Internet Finance, Big Data Management and Application, English, Japanese, German, Environmental Design, Visual Communication Design, Digital Media Art, Film and Television Photography and Production, Preschool Education, Elementary Education, Art Education, Applied Psychology, Chinese International Education, Chinese Language and Literature, and Rehabilitation Therapy, etc. 29 majors, including 7 applied undergraduate pilot majors, and 3 secondary and tertiary through majors. There are more than 500 full-time teachers in the university, nearly 100 of them have or are studying for doctoral degrees at home and abroad, of which more than 50 have or are studying for master's or doctoral degrees abroad, and 220 times of the teachers have overseas training experience. As of the end of May, there are more than 9,400 full-time undergraduate students in the university, and the students come from 26 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government.
