In 993, the name was changed to Sichuan Commercial School. 2004, approved by the People's Government of Sichuan Province, Sichuan Commercial School (a national key secondary school) and Sichuan School of Foreign Economy and Trade (a provincial and ministerial key secondary school) were merged to form the Sichuan Business Vocational College.

There are 8 doctoral students (including 5 doctoral students in the course of study), 261 with master's degrees, 234 with bachelor's degrees, and 19 outstanding young teachers.
