About Artificial Intelligence College:

In April 2010, the school merged the former School of Electronics and Information Technology with the former School of Computer Science to form the School of Information, and in January 2015, the art majors of the School of Foreign Languages and Arts were merged into the School of Information to form the School of Information Engineering and Art and Design, and in September 2019, the school, to further integrate the teaching resources of the college, the College of Information Engineering and Art Design was reorganized into the College of Information Engineering and the College of Modern Art.

In June 2021, the party organization of the College of Information Engineering was named as the advanced grass-roots party organization in Shandong Province's education system, which laid the foundation for the further development of the college.In January 2022, the College of Information Engineering was renamed as the College of Artificial Intelligence in order to further improve the university's vocational undergraduate education system as well as to integrate the university's teaching resources.
