A team of researchers from Zhejiang University and the Zhijiang Laboratory has developed a bionic deep-sea soft robot that can be maneuvered in 10,000-meter depths through three years of collaborative efforts.

The robot is reportedly inspired by the deep-sea lionfish that survives in extremely high-pressure deep water between 6,000 and 11,000 meters in the Mariana Trench, and can achieve stable flutter drive at a depth of 10,900 meters in the Mariana Trench.

It can be seen, the robot in the 110MPa pressure still maintains a stable operation (standard atmospheric pressure is only 0.1MPa). IT home learned that the results have been published in the journal "Nature", and has been in the South China Sea at a depth of 3,224 meters through the autonomous swimming test.
