Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology (SIST) has the following conditions for changing majors:

Students applying to change majors must have a GPA ranking of the top 50% of their major. If a student applies to change majors, the school will not accept the application under any of the following circumstances: admission through special enrollment forms (such as orientation students, special enrollment, students going to college, students going to college, etc.); transferring from a lower batch to a higher batch of majors; or the status of the academic record as a leave of absence or retention of the academic record.

The conditions for withdrawal have been met; disciplinary actions have been taken during the school period and have not been lifted; cross-category transfers between the three categories of arts, sports and general; physical conditions do not meet the medical examination standards for the major applied for transfer; and other conditions that do not meet the conditions for transferring to a new major.

Students applying to change majors, fill out the "Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology Student Application Form for Changing Majors", transfer out of the second level of the college for review, after agreeing to transfer out and publicity, will be the electronic version of the college 2021 students to change majors summary table and the signature and seal "Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology Student Application Form" and college 2021 students. After agreeing to transfer out and public announcement, the electronic version of the application form for changing majors and the signed and stamped "Application Form for Changing Majors of Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology Students" and the paper version of the summary table of students changing majors of the class of 2021 of the college will be submitted to the Academic Affairs Department on May 23rd.

Shanxi Institute of Science and Technology was founded in 2021, relying on the Taiyuan University of Science and Technology Huaxue College and Taiyuan University of Science and Technology Jincheng Campus address and independently set up the provincial public undergraduate level ordinary higher scientific and technological application-oriented colleges and universities.
