This major has a complete talent training system for undergraduate, master's and doctoral degrees in financial mathematics, quantitative finance, financial systems engineering and management, as well as postdoctoral stations, and master's and doctoral degree programs, which provide a ladder path for the growth of students. The faculty members of this program have doctoral degrees from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Nankai University, Tianjin University and other famous institutions, and their research interests cover finance, computational finance, operations research, supply chain finance, computer science, management science and engineering, and so on.
The faculty members of this program have presided over or participated in more than 10 national, provincial and ministerial level projects, published more than 100 papers, and have the title of Tianjin Innovative Team.
