People in East China are prone to fall, and people along the Yangtze River are prone to drowning. "Fall" ranks first in the risk of accidental injury, and the mortality rate of drowning or flood exceeds 96%. The overall accidental injury risk of young and middle-aged men is about 2.38 times that of women.

Traffic accidents account for the largest proportion.

Subdivide the causes of accidental injury risk, and fall is in the first place; Judging from the causes of major accidents, traffic risk is the first major cause of accident risk, accounting for nearly 33%. Among them, the traffic risk of motor vehicle drivers and passengers is the highest, accounting for 53.27%, and the traffic accident risk of non-motor vehicle drivers and pedestrians accounts for more than 40%, which also needs attention.

In traffic accidents, the death rates of motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles and pedestrians are all above 60%. Death accounts for more than half of accidents caused by falls. In accidents caused by inanimate mechanical forces, the more common result is mild disability.

Among the injuries and disabilities caused by accidental injuries, 8- 10 disability accounts for nearly 80%, but the first-degree disability rate is higher than the second-to sixth-degree disability rate.

Drowning and flood mortality are extremely high.

From the age dimension, the first cause of accidental injury risk in 0-19, 20 -49, 50 years old and above is accidental drowning or flood, inanimate mechanical force and falling.

According to the information of China CDC, injuries, including drowning, road traffic injuries, falls, burns, poisoning and suffocation, are the first cause of death for children aged 1- 17 in China, and they are also the important causes of non-disease disability for children of this age group.

Generally speaking, from the elderly to the young and middle-aged, and then to teenagers, the probability of accidental injury risk is gradually decreasing.

Men are more vulnerable to accidental injuries.

This report is organized by China Insurance Association, 20 15. It took two years to collect, clean and use 890 million insurance data samples, and use new technologies such as big data and machine learning to draw a portrait of China people's accidental risks from multiple dimensions such as gender, region and age.

From the perspective of gender, the risk of accidental injury of men in China is obviously higher than that of women. The overall accidental injury risk of men is about 1.3 times that of women, especially in the young and middle-aged (20 -59 years old) stage, the accidental injury risk of men is 2.38 times that of women.
