Different from the previous "opportunistic" positioning method, bicycles equipped with this smart lock can achieve real positioning. At present, both Little Blue Car and mobike are using this smart lock. This smart lock is equipped with a positioning device, and the bicycle will regularly send position information to the server platform through the positioning module built in the smart lock, and the server will then send these position information to the user's mobile phone client, so as to realize the real-time positioning of the bicycle, and there will be no situation that the bicycle cannot be found through the mobile phone client. All the little blue cars have built-in MT2503 chips, which are designed by MediaTek Company for wearable devices, and are highly integrated IOT chips with small-size system-level package. Its biggest feature is that it supports GPS and Beidou multi-satellite positioning system, has global satellite navigation system (GNSS) gat, supports Bluetooth 3.0, and integrates a 2G modem. MediaTek explained that "MT2503 has GNSS second-speed positioning function and accurate trajectory tracking function, and its power consumption is extremely low. Multi-galaxy positioning support such as Beidou and GPS makes MT2503 positioning without dead ends, fast and accurate. " In this way, the location information of a single vehicle can be located, sent and transmitted through MT2503.
At present, bicycles are equipped with two kinds of navigation systems: GPS and Beidou. GPS is a global positioning system dominated by the United States. Theoretically, integrated positioning GPS can achieve centimeter-level and millimeter-level positioning, but at present, the opening accuracy of GPS in civil field is about 10 meter. Another Beidou system is the positioning system led by China, which is the fourth largest satellite navigation system in the world after American GPS, Russian GLONASS and European Galileo. But at present, Beidou system can only cover China and Southeast Asia, and has no global positioning and navigation capability. Which system is more accurate in the field of bicycle enjoyment? At present, there are two suppliers of the hardware system of the smart lock: GPS and Beidou. Among them, GPS is a foreign supplier, which will reduce the accuracy when providing data to domestic companies. There is an error range of about 30-50m on the ground. However, at present, many companies that use GPS technology are more accurate in positioning. This is because the company has added algorithms such as big data and corrected its positioning with data. Domestic Beidou Company is a positioning system independently developed by China, and the positioning error is about 10-30m, which is relatively accurate. So it is better to use Beidou system.
