If the version of the 2.6G source file is higher than the CDR software you are using, it should be blank after opening.

The solution is to find a higher version of the software to open, and then save as a lower version of the file, you can then open it to see the contents.

Software still needs to be updated from time to time to avoid having a version that is too low to open a high version file.
