Anshun College (Anshun University), located in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, is a full-time general undergraduate comprehensive university formed and organized in February 2006 with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. The history of Anshun University can be traced back to Qianjiang Normal School, which was established in 1938, and has been developed through the stages of Qianjiang Normal School, Qianjiang Middle School, Provincial Anshun Normal School, and Anshun Normal Higher and Specialized School, with a history of nearly 80 years so far.

In 2006, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to the undergraduate level as Anshun College. As of May 2022, the school covers an area of 1,113 acres, with a building area of 366,800 square meters and a collection of more than 880,000 paper books; it has 16 second-level colleges, four teaching and research departments, and 47 undergraduate majors (directions); there are currently 881 serving faculty and staff members, of which, 366 are senior title holders, and there are 11,489 full-time enrolled students.
