Professional Programs:

Lehigh's Graduate Program in Financial Engineering is an advanced 30-credit program dedicated to applying the key definitions of financial theory, applied mathematics, and engineering to give a strong cultural education at the level of high-end financial and quantitative analytical tools for analyzing financial industry data. With this building control module, university graduates will play an important role in applying state-of-the-art analytical techniques and high-performance computing to build innovative solutions to specific financial and tax problems.

This challenging program can also be taken in one year. Students typically take lectures with Ph. Students. The program is dedicated to giving opportunities for positions in portfolio management, stock trading, investment banking, risk control and financial information management systems.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants need a bachelor's degree certificate from a program in computer science, socioeconomics, engineering, finance, econometrics, a math class, or a science (physics/organic chemistry). Four years of college-level study and training are required to enter Lehigh University.

Applicants who have not completed prerequisite courses will most likely be able to receive a conditional offer of admission and will be required to successfully complete basic course work prior to proceeding to the graduate program in finance industry engineering. The basic work does not count toward the 30-credit system required for the bachelor's degree.
