Longzi Lake University Park, located in the eastern part of Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, east of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway, west of the East Third Ring Road of Zhengzhou City, north of the Lianhuo Expressway, and south of the East Jinshui Road of Zhengzhou City, covers an area of about 22 square kilometers.

The Longzi Lake College Park consists of three parts: the college park, the Longzi Lake Wisdom Island and the Longzi Lake, with an overall ring-like distribution. Longzi Lake Wisdom Island is the pilot and demonstration area of the national-level big data comprehensive pilot zone and the first wisdom island in Henan Province, featuring government institutions including the Henan Center for Patent Examination and Collaboration of the Patent Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, and scientific research facilities such as the National Center for Technology Transfer in Zhengzhou.

In 2010, the number of people taking the college entrance examination in Henan amounted to 952,000, and the acceptance rate of the college entrance examination for general higher education was 65%; after many years of construction, the general higher education in Henan has made great progress, but the gap between Henan and the whole country is still very obvious.

In 2010, the acceptance rate of the national general higher education college entrance examination was 69.5%, of which the acceptance rate of 10 provinces and cities, such as Zhejiang, Hunan and Beijing, reached 80%.
