Almost all businesses don't set the same price for different performance products. Because AMD is not as big a brand as INTEL, I think AMD is slightly better. There is no reason to think that INTEL is better at handling large data volumes and AMD is better at gaming. You can find all kinds of tests online. I don't know how much data you're talking about. For our current work, INTEL's E2140 and AMD's 4400+ are sufficient.
